Ian Zeff has given talks to our Year 10 and Year 11 students as part of the PSHE programme.

He is an excellent communicator and speaks to young people in a mutually respectful way and is both impressive and accessible.

He provides positive and useful advice on street safety which is realistic and non patronising. Some of our students were not aware that they were sending out signals in the street when they were being noisy or showy.

And this has affected their behaviour in public places, especially in groups. Many remember his colour coding system for being aware of potential danger on the street.

Many are keen to attend his course on the art of self protection, we are hoping to organise these at our school in the future.

Ian, as far as the Conflict Management Training was concerned I have had nothing but excellent reports from everyone who took part from Vice Principal and Director level to the Site Wardens, Reception and all other support groups.

The timings and content were well planned with plenty of flexibility to deal with individual questions and situations. Handouts were very readable, topical and well presented.

All participants were particularly impressed with your ‘hands on’ approach, especially during the periods of role play.

The results of our training sessions have been that Duty Officers, Receptionists, Site Wardens and Curriculum Managers are now aware of the procedure and limitations to deal with situations of potential conflict, and all groups feel more confident and competent to deal with such situations.
